Easy Recipes Of Different Lip Gloss

Thursday, November 1, 2012

Recipes To Make Different Lip Gloss Lip gloss is a bare essential for all women. Lip gloss makes your lips look attractive, plump and protect them too. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could produce your own lip gloss? Yes, it’s definitely possible and I would recommend all of you, especially the ones with sensitive skin, to make their own lip gloss at least once.

Preparing your own lip gloss gives you the freedom to choose the ingredients and the flavors! The best thing is that you’ll be using natural ingredients. I made mine last week and stored it in a sterilized jar. I even stuck my name on it (to give it a professional feel), and you know what? I am freaking proud of it and kind of brag about it to all. Here are some easy recipes for you to try.

This lip gloss is not fun, it is somewhat like Vaseline but if you’re a beginner you might just try this out for some experience in lip-gloss making.

Coconut oil, Paraffin wax, Petroleum jelly, Candy melts (if you want colored gloss), candy flavor (oil based), grater, wax paper, sterilized Ziploc pouch, sterilized container (for storage).

Grate a bit of paraffin wax. Take ¼ teaspoon of the grated wax in the Ziploc bag, add 1 teaspoon of coconut oil, 1 teaspoon of petroleum jelly, one candy melt to bring in some color and taste. If you want you can add 1/8 teaspoon of the candy flavor. Seal the pouch and put it in a bowl of hot water.

Do not microwave or heat directly. When the contents of the bag have melted, mix well and pour into the sterilized container. Keep it aside for setting. You may also leave it in the fridge for 20 minutes if you want it to set faster. This gloss lasts for a long time and keeps your lips soft.

If you love the sweet taste of honey, this perfect lip-gloss for you.

Recipes To Make Different Lip Gloss

2 teaspoons of pure honey, 3 oz of sweet almond oil, ½ oz of beeswax, 2 drops of any essential oil (rosemary/ lavender etc) and 1 Vitamin E capsule.

You can use your microwave for this. In a microwave safe dish heat the almond oil and the beeswax and heat for a few seconds. Stir the mixture till the wax has melted. Add the honey , essential oil and the contents of the capsule. Stir well to incorporate together. Leave aside to set and store in a sterilized container.

This gloss is simple and fuss-free and gives a healthy transparent shine.

Petroleum jelly- 1 teaspoon, Pure coconut oil- ½ teaspoon, Fresh aloe Vera gel- 1 teaspoon

Mix all the ingredients together and heat till it become a runny liquid. Leave for sometime to set. Store the gloss in a sterilized container.

3 tablespoons of cocoa butter, 5 dark chocolate chips, 1 vitamin E capsule (acts as a preservative), 1 teaspoon coconut oil.

Mix all the ingredients together and gently heat the mixture. You’ll get a slight brown tinted liquid. Pour into a gloss container and refrigerate to set.

If cinnamon is the flavor and aroma of your choice, this gloss will be your favorite!

2 tablespoons of Petroleum jelly, ¼ teaspoon of any lipstick (any color of your choice), 3 drops of cinnamon oil.

Heat the petroleum jelly and the lipstick together till they have melted. Remove from heat and add the cinnamon oil. Pour into a small container and leave it aside for some time to set.

Different Types Of Stylish Beach Accessories Sunny weather is at its peak, and that means you should ditch all your boring official routines, and head straight to the nearest seaside. While you might halt your sartorial senses just with finding a fashionable swimsuit, basking in the sun on the beach isn’t confined to it only. Along with coming dressed in a perfect  swimsuit, you need to take certain other factors into consideration as well.

Of course, finding a nice swimsuit is necessary, but you also need to be aware about what you need to accessorize your beach look with. From beautiful broad beach hats to fashionable flip flops, you need to have all beach accessories with you, before prancing out for your little outing. If you are confused how to get yourself ready in order to enjoy the sun and sand outside, then don’t break another sweat. Here are some tips and suggestions on what different types of stylish beach accessories you need to buy right away.

Don’t forget, only a couple of days are left until the arrival of cold, chilly winter. So, it’s time to shop for some exciting and exquisite beach accessories to enjoy the winter sun bath to the hilt. It goes without saying that a beach wear is all what you need to consider first when going out on a beach.

Whether you are bold diva or a sophisticated lady; or whether you have a pencil thin body or a plus size figure, there is almost every style in beach wear designed to suit your taste and needs.  If you are into showing skin, you could opt for a nice pair of string bikini; and if you are not comfortable in skin show, there are different designs in bathing suit for you to flaunt.

But what about beach accessories? Your beach wear is nothing without the inclusion of beach accessories. From beautiful wraps or sarongs to designer towels, and from funky sunglasses to stylish beach bags, leaving out any beach accessories could spoil your beach time. Therefore, ensure that all of the below mentioned stuffs are in your beach accessories shopping checklist.

Coming in umpteenth fabrics such as cotton, rayon and other nice fabrics such as woolen, sarongs have become a must buy beach accessory among ladies who are not into showing off their skin in public. In fact, many designers have come up with their own range of beach sarongs in bold hues, floral detailing, accents like natural scenery and tie-dye patterns that make them perfect for wearing on the beach.

Can you do without sunglasses when out in the sun? If you answered no, then you could choose from a thousand of beach sunglasses  to flash off your cool beach style in front of others. Moreover, don’t forget to apply a branded sunscreen lotion before exposing yourself in the sun in order to redeem from sunburn.

Different Types Of Stylish Beach Accessories

While your sarong will be there to protect your lower body part from harmful sun rays, your sunglasses and sunscreen lotion will keep your face and skin protected from the sunlight. Although you can spare your money in cheap sunglasses, but make sure to invest in a UV protected sunglass, as it is an appropriate option when you are out in the sun for long hours.

Everyone enjoys fooling around and  playing in the sea. So, you need to buy a towel, if possible an oversized one, for drying yourself off when you are wet.  While some guys skip the idea of buying a beach carpet and use their towel instead, it’s recommended to buy  a beach towel or blanket for lying down on the beach. Buying beach towels coupled with beach carpet will save your time and money.

One of the incumbent elements of beach accessories, beach hats come in different style, design and colors. However, you could try small hats, but the perfect option for beach hats would be the one that feature big shades such as fedora, safari hats or wide brim hats, as it covers all your face.

Don’t forget, beaches correspond to sand; so avoid wearing high heels and close shoes as they will only add to your discomfort. If you want to feel relaxed and comfortable as long as you are out in the sand, preferring flip flops or sandals especially designed to be worn on the beach would do you a ton of favor. Flat sandals, sneakers and wedges will also work well with your beach look.

Don’t limit your thoughts about beach accessories just to stuffs like sandals and sunglasses. There are more to beach accessories than that.

Different Types Of Stylish Beach Accessories

Beach accessories are also an integral component of beach accoutrements.  There are various beach chairs available in the stores that sport a recliner, which bestow you with an alternative to lie down. Either toss over a blanket or a towel on the chair, and you could enjoy the relaxing sun bath all the day long.

Wearing only a bikini or bathing suit might make your silhouette look plain boring. Think of beaded jewels like neck piece, anklets, bangles for enhancing  the style quotient of your beach look. Beach jewels are extraordinarily exquisite and they have an ability to turn your boring beach look upside down in no minute.

And, finally comes the beach bags! When thinking about taking a bag along with you on a beach rampage, then think about functionality. Different Types Of Stylish Women Heels

Tuesday, October 30, 2012

Different Types Of Stylish Women Heels Admit it or not, but it is hard for any fashionista to resist the heel obsession phase. After all, every girl has her own moment of guilty pleasure when it comes to wearing these fashionable heels. No matter how much discomfort heels provide, a true fashionista like you and me always prioritizes the style quotient over the enduring pain.

Right? Heels are kind of fun; they have the ability to enhance one’s style and fashion meter exponentially without too much effort. Not only are they the short girls’ best friends, but they also are the true enhancer of a plain boring personality. For instance, if you don’t have a nice pair of dress to wear for a night out, just wear the best one you have, and accessorize it with a nice stiletto heel or wedges. And voila, you are all set to sizzle the night!

From pulling off the entire silhouette all together to transforming the whole look to the hilt, heels can seamlessly do it all. Heels induce a sense of femininity and wearing them fill you with sheer confidence. Nevertheless many ladies who wear heels know nothing about heels.

In fact, figuring out the difference between platform and wedges is almost a conundrum for them. Like many fashion lovers, I also believed that there isn’t an array of heel styles out there.  But, when I was introduced to the reality, it was so fascinating to discover that there are almost gazillions of types of heels to flaunt. If you also know little to nothing about heels, read out this article to know more about the various types of heel shoes.

Perfect for both tall and short women, kitten heels offer the hint of glamor of those long heel sandals. They feature an approximate height bracket of 1.5 inches to around 2.5 inches. Since they sport small heels and give a little height, they are usually preferred by tall ladies.

Who has really escaped the lure of stilettos? When it comes to making the ladies look more glamorous, toned, taller and well sculpted, no shoe does it better than stilettos. These sandals feature long, canned and thin heels, with a height range of 2 inches to 10 inches.

As the name suggests, cone heels are round shaped heels that are slightly broader when close to the sole of the sandals. But, as they go down, the heels tend to get narrower, giving it a structure of the cone.

Different Types Of Stylish Women Heels

There is no specific height bracket of the cone, and can vary with the brand and design.

The trend of the prism heels is gaining a huge popularity among young fashionistas, courtesy  the tinsel town. Prism heels are designed in a triangular structure and have three sides. Prism heels are usually featured in boots and leather shoes.

Spool heels share a similar design pattern like cone heels. In spool heels, however, the heels are broader around the soles, they get slightly narrowed down in between, and then they again thicken or broaden as the heels go down. Spool heels are very common these days, and are usually featured in the shoes that are meant for formal purposes.

Wedge heels run from the back of the shoe to the front i.e. the toes, and the heels get broader at the back and narrower at the front. They are also available in the half detached pattern with partial separation at the opening.

Different Types Of Stylish Women Heels

Along with classic wedge heels,  wedge also come with a distinctive contemporary twist that enhance the look of the wearer in no time.  While wedges give the comfort of flats, they also offer the glamor quotient of high heels, which make them truly desirable and fashionable.

Touted as the dress shoes, pumps are the shoes that sport a low cut front. The arch or the toe portion of the pump could be either pointed or rounded, while the minimum length of heels is around 2 inches.

Just like wedges and platforms, ladies often get confused between pumps and sling backs. Even though both share some features like their heels are  around 2 inches or have pointed or rounded toes, the slingback shoes also feature a strap that allows the rest of the heels to remain uncovered. Sling backs can be considered one of the most sought after heels among young and college going girls.

Different Types Of Stylish Women Heels

When talking about heels, they can be grouped into two categories: high heels and low heels. Mules are the close toed shoes, and are not covered from behind. They can either come in low or high heels.  Mules don’t torture your feet, and they can be, without doubt, worn for long hours.

The history of platform shoes goes back to the ancient times. However, it wasn’t until 1990s when platform shoes received its due credit. Worn by both men and women, platform shoes boast thick soles. The heels are not bigger than 2 to 3 inches, and they usually have a criss cross strap around the arch portion.

Boots come in two different styles, depending upon the needs and the demographic conditions. Fashionable and trendy boots usually have stiletto heels; however, some boots that are designed for protection against mud, water or snow  feature low heels. They reach past the thighs and extend to the ankles.

Heels are all rage, and are shining high on the fashion boulevard, despite having a long crowd who favors flats over heels.  Therefore, don’t go buy the old fashion rule book that says it’s not good to wear heels. Of course, wearing heels for long hours could bestow you with undeniable agony, but there is no harm in wearing it for a short occasion. From platform to wedges and from kitten heels to  sling backs, there is a whole rainbow of heels for you to flaunt and flash, as mentioned above. So, make sure to stack at least one or four in your closet to look fiercely feminine everytime you step out.
